Fun Activities and Historic Landmarks of Hialeah, Florida

A city in the sunny state of Florida, Hialeah is a city loved by its extraordinary history and various activities and sites that you can enjoy and explore. 

One of the most amazing places to be visited in Hialeah is the Hialeah Park. Hialeah Park, a National Historic Landmark, is the horse's oldest and largest continuously operating turf racing track in the United States. The place became known because of its flocks of birds such as flamingos that have been duly recognized as an asylum for the American Flamingo by the Society of Audubon. The city of Hialeah is recognized as the fifth of the largest city in the state of Florida, and it is between Biscayne Bay and the Everglades and it took about 15 minutes from the Miami International Airport. Going back to its history, the name of the city is commonly assigned to Muskogee origin, “Haiyakpo” means prairie and “hili” means pretty and it is combined in “Hialeah” to mean “petty prairie”. In addition to, the word means “Upland Prairie” which is originated form Seminole.

It extends many conventional features such as large open region, pavilions for parties and games with equipment upgrades appropriate for very young children of school age. Party stands for 150 people are $ 150 including a deposit of $ 100 a day, and small houses for 40 people or less and $ 50 with a deposit of $ 30 deposit for the day. Bike trailers can be rented for $ 5-20 per hour depending on its size, and is rented by a person over 18 years. You can also be rented paddleboats for a price of $10 per hour. If you will visit this park you will observed that Bill Farm Village is different. This pioneer farm village has a multipurpose store. I here you can buy foods and drinks like sodas. There is also a demo shed where you can observe cow milking, sheep shearing and horse-shoeing. There is also a petting zoo with sheep, pigs, goats, chicken and many others. If you want to feed the animals you can buy it for 50 cents and if you want to ride a pony it only cost about $2 at the store.     
Another park in Hialeah is the Virginia Gardens; visit here if you want to escape the bustle of the city. This garden is expanding and it is the home of more than 200 species of flowers and bushes. You can promenade along many trails or soak you feet in the creeks and streams and through his way you can relax you self from the hustle of the city.

In addition to, if you want to enjoy with you children don’t forget to visit the Goodlet Park. This park features many facilities and recreation in both indoor and outdoor. Many outdoor facilities includes 11 lighted tennis courts, 8 basketball courts, 2 baseball fields, running track and a playground.  The center of the study of dance and theater for children and the concession are on order to encourage creativity.
